I (Sam) am currently completing Yoga Teacher Training with a focus on mental health and trauma-informed care. Through this training, I am deepening my knowledge of breathwork, meditation, and yoga postures and sequences. These practices can be gently integrated into therapy sessions to support clients in reconnecting with their bodies, cultivating greater self-awareness, and fostering nervous system regulation. This mind-body approach can support meaningful, lasting healing.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a trauma therapy that utilizes the brains natural healing mechanisms. EMDR not only helps heal traumatic experiences but has also been found to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions and other hardships life brings. EMDR sessions do not require clients to talk in detail about the experiences they wish to heal and has been known to speed up the healing process compared to talk therapy.
Therapists at Feel It To Heal It Counseling understand that starting therapy can be overwhelming and will meet their clients where they are at. The therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect to healing and is the priority of all therapists. Everyone deserves a space to freely express themselves without judgement!
We offer both in person and telehealth services to accommodate the needs for all clients. Our office space is located downtown Batavia within walking distance from the Fox River. Feel free to ask your therapist for a walking session if this serves you!
